Two points for the eyes, a circle for the head, a line design clear and fair of black, white and blue: It is YURI, created in 2005 under the pen of Ange Potier. Small explorer of unknown worlds his name is a tribute to the Russian Yuri Gagarin, the first man to have traveled in space.
Yuri first existed in the form of short animated films and then a comic strip.
In 2013 the brothers Ange and Aurélien Potier united their talents and finally launched in the production of this project so many times dreamed: Make a video game with YURI.
Yuri is a tribute to the classic video game but also to the comic adventure, (Tintin de Hergé, Little Nemo by Winsor Mc Kay …). It was realized in complete independence by a team of 4 people.

Ange Potier is a designer and animator. He shares his life between France and Argentina. He is the author of the book “Camille Peint” with texts by Eve Loreaux (2005) and the animated film “El Bosque” inspired by the universe of Jérome Bosch (2011). With his drawings and animations he has participated in 4 shows directed by Argentinean choreographer Paula Manaker and two circus shows by Samuel Tétrault (Compagnie Les 7 doigts de la main). He created Yuri in 2005.
Aurélien Potier is a multimedia director. In 2010 he co-founded the creative app studio Fingerlab, awarded in 2012 at the Apple Design Award with the app DM1 – The Drum Machine.
Also a musician, he has performed in numerous ensembles, between jazz, rock and contemporary music (Centenaire, Section Amour, Organ, Raptus, …) and co-composed the music of the game Yuri.
